My husband has a dirty job so we're running out of detergent fast. We started looking for cheaper alternatives that worked just as well. We crossed out a few things, but this one came in the mail. The smell is not overpowering. It's very thin, so if you're looking for something with a very strong scent, this might not be for you. It cleans just as well as a well-known brand from the store. My husband's clothes tend to get very dirty and this soap saved us the trouble of throwing things out a few times. The amount you get will definitely save you money. If you go to the store and spend at least $15 on soap, you might already have it at home, saving yourself money and time. We needed cost savings and that was definitely the way to go when you start looking at volume/cost/time. If you have Prime, it can be shipped and delivered quickly. Just make sure you can live with heavy objects.
