Review on Archipelago Black Forest Candle Tin by Ashley Carlson

I've just ordered my third Black Forest candle - the first was a gift and I ordered the next two through Revain. The scent is one of the best I've ever had. As an older man, I've used hundreds of candles (getting in touch with my feminine side since my wife remembers me anyway. I don't know what Blackwood smells like, but this candle is only vaguely 'masculine'). but by no means overpowering, not leathery, oaky or anything masculine, nor weak either - the room can quickly fill with a scent that is distinctive and a far cry from typical store candles, which may be cheaper but are in a different, poorer league. The Black Forest holds too - I don't count the hours, so who knows if it's 50 or not. But I am in no way disappointed. This candle has become my favourite, my wife loves it and while they are I will be ordering. There is no exaggeration here, just honest praise for a candle that is truly worth its price. 8-9-20). No big deal, but the surface of the candle was more than waxy: like it was coated in a grease that made even the metal cone of the container slick and black on my fingers. Disappointing as these are by far my favorite candles.
