I've always been a fan of Panasonic products. The build quality, durability and functionality of their products have always been top notch. These high-end Technics headphones are no different. I work in sales and service and am constantly on the phone to solve a complex technical problem or estimate the cost of a project. Due to Covid and my work situation at home where everyone is now home, I needed a few key features: 1. Noise canceling that not only worked, but worked well. They're absolutely as good if not better than the Air Pod Pro and seem to be on par with most over-ear headphones I've tried. If you want to close the world around you will do this.2. I needed something that would allow me to hear what was going on around me without taking her out of the house. With the Technics Audio Connect app you can increase the ambient noise level so you can keep an eye on your surroundings. It's a lifesaver in the field when you're trying to work with field workers to get off-site tech support to solve an issue. This also comes in handy when you're trying to work from home and need to keep tabs on siblings who are fighting or getting into trouble. They should have stayed in my ears! - Air Pods and Air Pod Pros didn't stay safe in my ears. I always threw one or the other. Technics offers multiple options to customize their fit and stay snug. That being said, I'm not sure how well they will stand up to walking or jogging. So far the fit and feel is pretty damn good.4. Battery life. There's nothing worse than constantly plugging your earbuds back into their charging case. So far I've got 5-6 hours between charges. Mostly phone calls with music in between. I've used previous devices for a maximum of 2-3 hours before needing to be charged.5. Sound quality on calls - I'd say it's probably not quite on par with Air Pods or Air Pod Pro. It's definitely not bad or bad, but I was hoping it would be on par and probably the most disappointing thing about these headphones. *I should also note that my phone is on its last legs and a new one should arrive any day now. While I doubt the phone has anything to do with it, the improvements may allow me to update it. Other things I found good to excellent: - The application is simple but functional. Easy to use and controls all important functions and also allows you to customize your music with bass boost or equalizer. The music is amazing and way better than anything I've tried. Very good reproduction. The pairing was easy and the transitions between car and bumps are fluid. The connection after removing it from the case and putting it on the ears is instantaneous. Distance and connection strength easily reach 50ft+ without distortion or degradation. Touch functions are intuitive and easy to learn. So far they always work and have a quick response. If you're looking for great all-around headphones with great noise-cancelling performance, this product might be for you.
