I bought the medium and the small size memory foam beds for two reasons. One, I was hoping I might be able to keep my dogs off of my own memory foam bed so that I can sleep better. Two, the beds I was getting from Costco are good and durable but the filling shifts too much and eventually gets very flat. I have hardwood floors and four large dogs. My senior dog loves my memory foam bed so I hoped this would work for her. After they fluffed to the original size, I pressed on them and wasn't too impressed right away. I had the dogs test them out and found that it did hold them several inches off the floor once they were laying down. I tried it myself and found that it held even my weight pretty well.
