Review on Fitbit Charge Wireless Activity Wristband: Small Size, Sleek Black Design by Chris Lemm

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Poor quality for the price

While the Fitbit worked as advertised, my wife (who I bought it for) was unhappy with a few things. First, the sleep tracker is far less sophisticated than you'd expect from a company that's been around for so long. It tells you when you're asleep, when you're "restless," and when you're fully awake. There are other sleep tracking apps that don't even have an additional tracking device (other than your phone) that can give you more details about the quality of your sleep and when you were in deep versus light sleep. These are much better indicators of how restful your sleep actually was. Second, the band's style fell all the time! Even if it wasn't (very easily!) caught and pulled by things, too much movement usually caused it to dislodge. A rather annoying fitness tracker to wear during periods of high activity. Third, the bracelet fell apart completely after about 6 months of daily use. My wife was trying to glue it together when the hard parts of the frame came loose but it won't hold. Different types of bands also continue to fall off the device due to the type of material they are made of. Overall, we were not thrilled with this product. If we buy another Fitbit device again, it definitely won't be this model.
