I study at nursing school. I have a large desk but needed a way to make better use of the space and book stand to tilt my books for easy reading and avoid glare from overhead lights. I bought this tray complete with a stand with two armrests so I can place my (HEAVY) textbooks on one side and my laptop on the other, leaving my desk free to take notes. THAT'S GREAT. The stand and this tray do exactly what I need. Strong enough not to move when I put my very heavy textbooks on it - it stays in whatever position I put it in. Here's the stand I'm using: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product /B07DWM9WNM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
