This works exactly how a water meter should work. It replaces dental floss by getting between the teeth. My husband recommended I use one from our dentist so I ordered this one. I guessed that he had various attachments. The battery life seems to be good. The water tank is quite large and doesn't take up too much countertop space. I highly recommend this water dispenser!
