Review on 🌱 Sprout Change Coconut Diaper Shell: Reversible and Reusable, Perfect for Eco-conscious Parents by Elizabeth Pushkina

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Great design with poor absorbency

I have to disagree with another reviewer that rung change diapers have poor absorbency. If the outer shell is well fitted and you insert two pads (three if the child is older) there will be very little flushing. We have been using them for our grandson and young daughter for about four months now. However, the configuration of the buttons makes it difficult to put the diaper on the baby, and the sizing elastics often get lost in the seams of the diaper, requiring heroic efforts to make the wrapper reusable. A seam ripped in the wash today and now I have to figure out how to fix it (I'll probably have to enlist the help of a family member who can sew). I've only been using this particular case for about a month :p Oftentimes the adjustable elastics have also worn out and started to fall apart in the wash. If these diaper covers were better designed I'd give them a four for their ability to prevent leaks, but the craftsmanship sucks and when you buy direct from the manufacturer you expect terrible, uncommunicative customer service, late or no shipments, and none at all Possibility. Actually talk to someone there and take care of your complaints.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Infuriates me
