Great Walkman product for what I use it for. I needed to create a simple Windows 10 installation guide. As long as I like the device, I will use it on AUX input devices between the machine and the workstation computer. Below is a quick guide for users familiar with Windows 10: How to set up your Sony Walkman as a hard drive on a Windows 10 computer. .1. Open <b>Computer Management</b>. In the search box, type Computer Management.2. Connect your Sony Walkman using the supplied USB cable or a longer cable that you purchased.3. Your Sony will show up in Unknown Devices and won't open File Explorer if the drive is invalid.4. From Unknown Devices Right-click the device and select Update Driver Software. Next (don't worry about what's in the picture, they should be unknown devices) 5. In the Update Driver Software section, select Browse my computer for driver software. Next6. Select "I want to select" from the list of device drivers on my computer. NextNote: Sony tip: INF folder does not work.7. From the list Select a device type from the list below, scroll down to Universal Serial Bus Devices. NextNote: Some say to search for USB mass storage, but you won't see it until the driver is installed or you see the following screen.8. Under Select the device driver you want to install for this hardware, select USB mass storage device. Next9. You should see Windows has successfully updated your driver software. USB stick. Note. Now you should see how the battery charging animation works. Before your device driver was properly installed, there were no moving images on your loading screen, I'm sure of that. 10. Open Device Manager under Computer Management and you should see the list of WALKMAN portable devices and USB controllers shows USB drives.
