My son took it to the small pool. I got a few seconds of underwater video and there was water in the camera. Lens fogging and bumps on screens. The pool is no more than 3 feet deep and speaks literally. "Waterproof". Be careful. Who knows. Maybe I had a broken unit... but I would get a better camera if you have to rely on it for underwater photography.
