I have had all kinds of humidifiers and this is what I can say: This steam option is similar in performance to ultrasonic, but does not create plaque on furniture and puddles around it and does not emit ultrasound. Compared to natural humidification, it is more productive, it has much cheaper consumables, and mold cannot start there. The price for all these pluses: noise, room heating and correspondingly high power consumption (285 watts on high and 145 watts on low). In general, the thing is excellent, and the humidity in the room was able to raise in 3 days such that two expensive humidifiers with natural humidification, even at full speed, could not raise for a week. The main thing is to let it work for several days at full power so that the furniture absorbs moisture and then just set it up so that it keeps it at a low level, turning it on and off. And minus a point for a thread problem.
