Honestly, for $17 and free shipping (Prime), my hopes died. But the device works so well that I have to give a review. I have a MacBook and a LG USB C monitor. The monitor has some kind of USB C hub so I really wanted something to create multiple USB A locations. The current USB 3x hub I have my iPhone can't connect to update with the new iOS. I'm not sure if it's bad luck or some kind of magic or operator error, but I still wanted a new hub. SD and TF card readers work well. Note that TF and MicroSD are technically different, but the TF reader read my microSD as expected. And I was able to connect my iPhone to make a backup on my computer (yes, I still do that because I'm old). The only downside is that it's a USB 2.0 hub. But the cable length, card reader, form factor and price are all right for me.
