Review on πŸ”Œ Industrial Electrical Magnetic Converter Compatible Smartphones - NetDot by John Hall

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Overall a good product. But you need a clip.

Love the easy plug/unplug and assembly. The male part of the adapter that plugs into the phone doesn't stick out much, maybe about 3mm. With a thin case on my phone, it protrudes about 1mm from the case. The magnet keeps a good connection for charging. I have a cable that is a bit inflexible and will twist the connector if I'm not careful. One problem is that you have to be careful not to get the end of the magnetic cable into areas where tiny bits of metal may be. The bottom of the car caught me a few times. There are little bits that get stuck in the connector and since the connection is quite precise, these little bits prevent the cable from being fully connected. The metal bits are small and the magnet is strong, making the connection difficult to clean. Some luck with another optional magnet. The design would be greatly improved with a clip to hook the cable you connect it to. Inevitably, you'll turn it off to use it on a piece of electronics that doesn't have an adapter. Once you unplug it, it's doomed to be lost. First I liked the little blue light that indicates energy. Initially. Pointing at you on the bedside table or in the car at night is too bright.
