These socks are beautiful. I need comfortable lightweight compression stockings and they are excellent. I have situational swelling in the summer plus a year after my ankle reconstruction surgery. If you are looking for a tight compression sock then this is not it. I had these type of socks post surgery and they are just too uncomfortable to wear all day except when needed post surgery. If you're looking for lightweight compression stockings that you can really wear all day, you've come to the right place. The sock itself is soft, lightly padded and comfortable. The rearfoot/heel cushioning is a stroke of genius. This pad protects your shoes from chafing - nice! I bought 2 pairs and will buy another pair or two.
