Don't buy this until you have the type of mounting you want, look for countersunk head screws or flat head mounting screws. Otherwise, it's quite difficult to install the panel without a set of small nuts and bolts. The mini V plate is 4.7mm thick and the countersunk holes are 6.5mm in diameter. I ended up using smaller screws so the gap wasn't an issue. It fits a full size V-Lock, just a "mini" base, the triangular plate fits my existing V-Lock from a light source. Solid connection, red latch looks well built. Many attachment points due to its small size.
