NOTE: Get item for free through the Vine program My wife and I love silicone-based food products with our 10-month-old baby: they're waterproof, very easy to clean, and fairly resilient to all the abuse a baby can take could bring upon him. This wasn't our first set of silicone products, but we're always on the lookout for new ones and ordered them as soon as we saw them. This is an amazing kit if like us you need more silicone products for your little one. THE GOOD: - Everything looks nice and solid. With the exception of the fork handle, everything is made of thick silicone that is virtually indestructible. The whole set looks very good, especially for the price. The wooden fork handle also looks solid: not cheap and obviously made of real wood. I should note that the "head" of the spore is quite large - a bit too big for our baby's mouth. Like everything else, the fork head is made of silicone: it's easy to clean, but it's also soft, which reduces the risk of your child accidentally injuring themselves when they put the fork in their mouth. Everything is easy to clean with a sponge and washing-up liquid. The silicone also makes it easy to dry, although we prefer to air dry. Everything is dishwasher safe - we washed the whole set in our dishwasher with no problems. - The "suction" function of the bowl works very well. We have another bowl with the same function but unfortunately our little one is strong enough and smart enough to pull her off the high chair table. This bowl is different: the seal at the bottom is much stronger than our other bowl. My wife and I sometimes have trouble dealing with this on our own. Nice! MEH: - With our kit, the included bib was folded during packing, resulting in a fairly noticeable crease. Not a big problem but annoying as the bib looks damaged even though it's brand new. Despite this aesthetic flaw, the breastplate still works perfectly. - The opening for our baby's neck on the bib is a bit small, especially compared to other silicone bibs we have in our collection. Something to keep in mind if your child has a particularly thick neck. It's not really a minus, but something to keep in mind: the bowl is quite deep. It's a bit big for our little one and a lot deeper than other bowls we have. Keep this in mind as it may be difficult for small children to see and reach the bowl. BAD: Nothing! We are very happy with this set and if you are making a baby shower wish list or are looking for a baby shower gift this is a great idea! The kit is excellent value for money and I think we'll be using at least a bowl and spatula for a while. Highly recommended!
