This shelf is visually understated, so it's a great option if you already work with different styles of furniture or just want to do something different. I tried to combine modern with a vintage farmhouse and it worked great. If it's a little high for your needs, you don't have to set it up to its full height, just stop at any height you like and use it as a side table (or even a bedside table for a small space). The shelves hold more than you might think, the construction is solid and although I usually avoid chrome it looks good - and of course you can always paint the legs if you like. They also make a great stand for rolled towels, fancy goo bottles, plants, etc. It's incredibly versatile and worth the money. I broke part of the screw so I contacted the company and they sent a replacement straight away. Fantastic customer service - I will definitely be buying from this manufacturer in the future.
