Although the model number didn't match exactly (my fridge manual is called LT1000P-S which isn't listed in the description). Apparently the last digit doesn't matter. Also, please note that turning an old filter can be a little tricky. My old didn't turn easily. It takes a full 1/4 turn to come out. None of the instructions mention this. The inward pressure when turning worked, but I was afraid of breaking something as it required a lot of force. (This was the original filter.) This filter went in easily and so far the water tasted great.
