I have several mugs and empty glasses on my workbench that often get in the way of my work, so I ordered these pegboard cups as an alternative to my desk. They're pretty light so I wouldn't put anything heavy in them, but they're more than adequate for things like pencils/pens, small bushes, tweezers, etc. The hooks have a right angle bend where they enter the pegboard, making them difficult to assemble. If you have to remove the mug to mount it on a workbench you risk breaking the hooks, so I wouldn't recommend it for that use. If you leave these cups attached to the perforated plate, there is no problem. I just wanted to get things out of my workspace and this product did the job.
