I screwed the first adapter into the ceiling fan very gently until I felt a little resistance. Then I did the same with the A19 bulb in the adapter. When I looked at it from a short distance, the bulb's position looked very uneven, so I decided to take it out and try again. Using minimal effort, I unscrewed the bulb, thinking it would detach from the adapter. Unfortunately, the adapter remained screwed to the lightbulb, but the adapter's metal connector came loose and remained in the ceiling fan. It just broke without outside power. After spending 15 minutes trying to remove the stripped metal adapter plug from the lamp port with pliers, I initially thought it was human error, so I grabbed another adapter and very carefully screwed it into the other lamp port. on the same ceiling fan. Before I put a lightbulb in this adapter I wanted to try unscrewing it to make sure it didn't have the same problem as the first one. NO. He undressed just like the first adapter. The metal connectors on the bottom of these adapters are so poorly made that they snap as soon as you unscrew them with the slowest and least amount of force. I chose not to use these adapters because I can't imagine how well they would work if they couldn't stay assembled even when unscrewed.
