JACKYLED Adapter 5 Pack Chandelier Converter Review

I have a ceiling fan with candelabra bulbs in my kitchen, but I wanted the bulbs in the fixture to be much bigger and brighter. The fixture is only rated for 40 watts per bulb so I found some standard E26 LED bulbs that put out 2500 lumens and only use 20 watts each. I screwed these adapters into the bracket and screwed the bulbs into the adapters and now my kitchen is a lot brighter. These adapters are great. I've seen some people say they have a decent failure rate and rate of fire etc but none of mine have given me any problems so far. I have many Philips Hue bulbs that I use with these adapters. I can safely say that I trust them with all the lamps I have. There have been power outages or surges and they look a lot better than the cheap boxes you find for the same price or a little less. At first glance things are very light, which is good when you add something to that tiny E12 fitting. The downside is that the connection between threads and the new socket isn't always good. I had one (of five) cracks when I installed them and had to use a tool to fish out what was left of the original socket. I screwed the first adapter into the ceiling fan very gently until I felt a little resistance. Then I did the same with the A19 bulb in the adapter. When I looked at it from a short distance, the bulb's position looked very uneven, so I decided to take it out and try again. I needed 4 adapters to convert the candelabra style light to our favorite E26 LEDs. It worked out in the end, but there are some significant caveats, hence 3 stars. Pros: * Price Cons * The PBT (plastic) material used for the case starts to soften at around 50-60C (120-140F), so it is not recommended for use in enclosed incandescent or halogen fixtures > 20W recommended. I really, really wanted to like them. They work but I don't trust using them in my newly bought house. I'm trying to use LIFX Smart Bulbs E26 in my ceiling fan with E12 outlets. After ordering the wrong ceiling fan bulbs three times in a row, I decided that ordering adapters should be easier than teaching my brain how to do it . think. I was right! It has made my life so much easier - I now only have to buy one type of bulb for almost every light fixture in my house which makes it easy to have extras on hand.
