EASY TO CLEAN, DURABLE spoon! I don't like anything in the shell...this wonderful shovel is perfect, thought out to the smallest detail. Inside. It attaches to the cup, which is about 7 inches deep, with disposable bags that slip inside from a hidden compartment below. Got a kit with 6 extra rolls of thick bags. You scoop, sift and bag the clumps, remove the handle/scoop, pull up the bag, tear along the perforated edge/roll, tie off and discard. The bags are so nice and thick that no smell came into the bag. It's simple and easy to clean with a warm conditioner, shake and I let it air dry. The cup stays clean, so it hasn't had to be washed yet. I guess it depends on the filler used, but I had to use an old shovel to scoop, scoop, and bring the treasure back before I could just scoop it into my carry-on bag. scooping… just because my first 2 shovels to dig up the treasure get really dirty with the device… my main reason for buying was to get the treasure straight into the wrapped container without having to search for a bag, struggling with one hand, to keep it open wobbly bag, and with other hand i try to pick it up and pour it into bag, and in most cases i throw trash everywhere! It suits my needs perfectly... quite a neat invention. Oh yeah, by the way, the rolls of darning bags I scanned while shopping all seem to be the same size to fit the small roll holder on the bottom of the bin, and I have 3-rolls at dollar stores for one seen dollars.
