Indian Scout 60 in South Carolina

After a month of ownership I have to say it is much better than I expected and suits my Indian Scout 60 very well. I live near Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and spring mornings are rainy, foggy and summers are hot and muggy. All of these conditions, combined with the vinyl seat, make for a pretty wet saddle. This cover allows air to pass underneath and directs water away from your body. It also adds a nice level of comfort for a longer ride, which is one of my few complaints about the Scout. The construction looks solid. The beads have a nice dark brown smudge to show off the granularity and are tied together with several layers of thick twine. My only concern is that if the knot is untied, the whole block will likely fall apart. I don't think it will happen. Overall given the price I will continue to purchase a replacement if it ever wears out.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Very expensive
