What consumers get for cable connections of all kinds borders on criminality. It costs next to nothing to manufacture, but most stores will charge $30, 40, 50 or more for the most basic cable, and justify this with solemn warnings that buying "inferior" quality will compromise performance, etc. And that's it. BS The reality is that unless you're connecting supercomputers together, a simple cable with no name will work just fine. And that brings us to it. Not a fancy folding bed. No marketing burden. Nothing is gold plated. Just a two-meter eSATA cable in an ordinary plastic bag. And yes, it's great for playing HD/Blu-ray movies and programs from an external drive on a 64-bit Windows 7 computer and on a 1080p big screen. No shaking. No pixelation. Nice and smooth. This is very good value for money and kudos to Revain and the manufacturer/reseller for offering a little technical sanity.
