Beautiful print and material but a bit small

This is a really nice shirt with a wonderful pattern that people don't realize it's SpongeBob until I catch their eye. Unfortunately the shirt runs a bit small, I usually have enough room for my size (even after washing) and instead the shirt fits right out of the box. I reordered a size up and these shirts were bulky. Hopefully they will shrink in the wash.
