So I bought them to let the cat run. 5 through my basement from side to side for the switch rack to my desk. I specifically chose them because I saw that they have a hole in the middle. Adhesion to wood is good. Not sure if it was meant for that or not to be honest, but I had to insert a screw in the middle for cable management. They worked like a charm. I've been able to hang all of my Cat5e cables through the basement ceiling, they trundle in and out making them handy if I need another cable after I'm done. I will probably buy more in the future. suitable for Cat5, coaxial in the same group. I'll try my luck with some power cords to tidy things up. If you're looking for a crazy, inexpensive way to run cables, I would definitely recommend getting one. Everything gets 5 stars except for the clutch. Like I said, it didn't stick to wood, but I'm not even sure it was designed for that purpose.
