Add some silicone to seal the edges for better wear resistance.
This material is easy to remove and clean compared to my old wall mounted soap dish. I used to stick a similar foil on an apron, which peeled off over time. And started peeling off at the top. So I was a bit concerned about the strength of the thin sticker, although it worked very well for the first few weeks and even months. To improve adhesion I simply applied a silicone circle to seal the edge of the cling film. Hopefully this time with some silicone application it will help it last longer. I wish this trick would help other buyers.
