I bought a case for my 150 Prismacolor pencils - it was supposed to hold 200 pencils but I wouldn't put more than 164 pencils in it . There was a reason I only gave it 4 stars. I found that the top row could only hold 3 pins instead of 4. Otherwise it would stick together and one of the pins was on top of the others - they were placed in the wrong order which is driving me crazy. And I also found that the top row at the edges can hold 4, but then a closet to zip will put a lot of pressure on the tip - and the Prismacolor pencils are very soft and I didn't want them to be damaged. I had to pull them out and start over 3-4 times but finally I got what I wanted, so I'm sharing the order I have in pictures to save your time. With 3 pins on the strap at the top and 4 at the bottom, the case also feels less bulky/thick when zipped closed. I am very happy. The first one I ordered had a broken zipper so I asked for a replacement and got it the next day which was really nice. It fits all my pens with space to mix pens. I am very happy with it. I like the strap that makes it easy to carry. I love that I can see all my colors at once so easily - instead of taking trays out of the original box, Prismacolor pencils are included. I would recommend this case to anyone trying Store 164 colors or fewer, or who cares if the top ones cluster together.
