I waited a long time before buying because I used a sewing pad and thought it was ok. Oh god no! You must break down and get it! Everything is erased from the glass with a flick of a baby wipe! If you have Copic markers, just wipe them off with rubbing alcohol. The white craft mat on the right is perfect for watercolor mixing or ink mixing! I like that it's marked with ruler lines in inches and centimeters. It doesn't slide on my desk as it has little "feet" that stick, but you can easily take it off. Simply the PERFECT art mat!
