Have purchased this item in a variety of colors and lengths over the last 2 years with great results (expect shorter lengths to be lighter). Pushbuttons are great for quick installation and adjustment, but NOT outdoors: Over time, exposed to the elements, when the metal tip of the pushbutton makes contact, the wire will corrode/oxidize and short out the light. (Soldering repaired the imperfections with lessons learned.) Applying a glue gun every few feet works great indoors, but for a stronger and more permanent outdoor installation, go back and apply clear silicone/glue every few feet as well.
