My mother has poor eyesight due to glaucoma and had trouble seeing her plate of food. I bought this light to illuminate her plate and help her see better. It gives off a lot of light and she said it was great for her needs! She can stick it to her plate, or it has a flat base so it can just stand on the table and she can move it where she needs it. I am very happy with this purchase and I highly recommend it.
