I won't lie I literally laughed when I opened it. It's VERY thin and really just a glorified wire. However, this is exactly what I wanted! My husband and I decided to update my rings for our anniversary/vow renewal and I didn't want to solder this as the last set. The downside is that if you don't solder the rings together, the teeth of the diamond rings will rub, wear and severely damage each other, and repairs can be expensive (I know from personal experience with my first set). . I wanted something very subtle, without pavé, which is almost impossible to find in a jewelry store; In my experience most refuse to make and sell it to order. This one is literally perfect! It's very thin, so you can hardly see it between the stripes. It sits low so it doesn't touch or rub against your teeth. It's also 14k white gold. So if you have a 14k set you don't have to worry about anything wearing out due to a discrepancy between clarity and softness (the higher the gold grade, the higher the clarity and the softer the metal). . My set is quite elegant, the thickness of both rings is 1.85 mm, just for comparison in the photo. So I wanted a smaller 0.75mm tape instead of 1mm or 1.5mm. I also have many smaller diamonds (along with a hidden halo) so all I had to sit deeper knew what was happening. This gives enough room for my band to never touch or rub against my ring as my rings move during the day and I don't have to worry about damage! I'm splitting my original wedding ring! As a scam I will say that it could easily be bent, damaged and lost. It's always in my kit, so I don't worry too much about it. If you want to wear it alone, I would recommend going half a size up.
