I wanted a resealable basket for masks and other small items. It's very cute, fits in the cup holder behind my console. It's a bit small for a tote bag, but a quart-sized plastic bag is perfect for it and a great way to repurpose a recycled bag that's nearing the end of its useful life. Of course you can also use it without a liner. It had a weird sticker that said "Trash Can". I think it's obvious, but whatever! The plastic should wash off easily. I haven't had it that long so can't comment on its durability but it works for what I need.
