As an EE and someone who loves gadgets, flashlights, etc. this is one of the highlights. It took a bit of figuring out the modes and a light button press to change the lumen settings, but once I've played around with all the features it's a pleasant surprise for the price. I think my 8 year old daughter owns and uses it for her forts and lets me use it from time to time. The dimmable flashlight is beautiful and exceeds my expectations. Charging is easy and it is. I wouldn't say I would take it to climb Mt. but it's great for casual home use or maybe even a light hike. Of course, the quality and capacity of the battery is questionable, but for the price and use, it does its job well. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an extra flashlight that needs a little extra light in life.
