I want to record the opening of the box. Let me just say that the company took the time to ensure the item was well packaged and packaged to ensure the product arrived undamaged. I really like the design and color. It adds a "pop" to a countertop filled with ordinary kitchen utensils. This design is exactly what you need for a butter dish. For over 20 years I have been looking for an oiler that has an easy to lift and open lid. As we all know, the oil itself makes oil cans slippery over time. There's nothing worse than lifting a slippery top so it slips out of your hands. Seriously, don't be afraid of this device anymore. The "hedge end" is long enough and strong enough to carry easily. The top "water outlet design" is also sturdy and perfectly raised to grab and take off the top. I hand washed it as soon as I received it and it doesn't water stain like some old dishes I've bought. YAYI hasn't used it in the dishwasher yet, but he says it's dishwasher safe. There is a quantity mark in the plate to help measure cooking oil which is a nice and great addition that I have not seen on any other product. Overall, I am very satisfied with my product and would buy from the manufacturer again. PS I am not being paid or benefiting from this review. Honestly, a happy 42 year old mom :)
