Saved my child's life

This product saved my child's life! We went cycling a few days ago, me and my 2 year old boy (almost 3 years old). He was in the seat behind me when a lunatic, also on a bike (he said he couldn't see anything ahead!), burst into us! We all fell at once, I had 2 shoulder injuries (fractures) and ended up in the hospital and had surgery on my right shoulder. My baby came out with very tiny little bruises. Nothing! He was strapped into the seat the whole time, even when the bike fell, and was…

Solid and comfortable fit, poor fitting instructions

I thought it was 20202 - so for anything that takes more than 5 minutes to fit or has more than 5 steps - companies should post a video link with the installation post instructions. It might take you 20 minutes to create a video like this but it would add so much value. If not, I'll automatically deduct a star. Hard but fair, I know. Anyway, this seat is solidly built, took a few safety measures, but the setup sucks. The wording of the instructions is confusing and the pictures don't clearly…

Read please! The screw broke off during installation.

This 2 star rating means I have not used the product myself. I just finished installing but had to warn other buyers. I will explain; I just received this product and ordered it at a reasonable price and got good reviews and recommended Revain. Installation was relatively easy and the instructions were simple. Here's the problem, during installation I tightened a (important) mounting screw and it broke completely. I haven't tried tightening the bolt and if I loosened it a few more turns would…

Good but not great.

My own experience: Enthusiastic urban cyclist, ex-motorcyclist, the side of the touring bike fits my 6'3" frame and weighs 200 pounds. Passenger, with enough seat belts. If you're an avid cyclist, you'll quickly get used to the new center of gravity. Two stars were deducted for the following: 1) Seat cushion: The seat cushion is an airbag only and does not provide enough passenger support. I had trouble hitting bumps as my passenger complained of back/neck pain. Please do something about the…

Unacceptable - Backrest screws snapped off during installation - cheap steel

Purchased after reading reviews. The problem, and this is more than a problem, maybe the recall is justified, is that the bolts that attach the rear legs to the seatstays are cheap steel and come off easily with little effort. The saddle design has these two bars that extend from the seat post and attach to the seat stays (these are tubes on a bike that are usually welded slightly behind and below the saddle and connect to the chainstays on the rear axle). I mainly deal with car maintenance and
