When I first used this I was afraid I would screw it up, but it's so easy to use you can't go wrong. If you mix the meat well and let it sit in the fridge for a few hours to allow the flavors to soak in, it will turn out great. I watched a few YouTube videos for some tips and my first batch was great. I used 4 pounds of extra fat ground beef and it came out a fairly tender jerky that's easy to chew. The gun is mostly plastic, but as long as you don't overdo it, it should hold up. It was worth a very affordable price, and the spice pack with medicines already inside made it even more convenient to use. I definitely recommend trying it.
