Wanted a modern Android phone based on the Snapdragon 888 chip. All my research found this phone to be very good value for money and recent video reviews I saw on YouTube stated, that early problems with the phone (particularly with the camera) have been fixed in recent system updates. So I bought this phone and have been using it as my daily driver for a month now. I am very satisfied with his work and performance. I updated the system OS almost immediately after the initial setup. This phone definitely drains the battery faster than other Android phones when the screen is active. However, it has a very innovative battery design which, when combined with a 60W charger (!), allows a 5% to 100% charge in a very short time. In my opinion it fully charges in 20-25 minutes with the included charger, but I haven't tested or measured this accurately. On the other hand, if I go to bed with a 10% charge, it hardly discharges overnight. I haven't tried tricks like lowering the screen refresh rate or enabling advanced battery savers. As long as I quickly charge it for about 5 minutes before heading out the door, I'll have enough battery to run errands. I saw in my pre-purchase research that there was some controversy surrounding the Hasselblad branding. Camera optics, but honestly I didn't care about any of that. I have taken many photos and videos with the camera and am very happy with the results. As said, the advice here is to update your phone to the latest OS version. My phone overheated once, but that was when I was running the OnePlus Clone Phone app to transfer media and other files from my old phone. Since then it has hardly gotten warm. I bought a clear ArmadilloTek case for it, which does a great job of protecting the phone in my use case.
