I prefer using my large nail lamp, but for a recent trip I just didn't want to add anymore bulk to all the stuff I had to carry. It came in very handy when my little granddaughter wanted me to do her nails for Christmas.I like it for being easy to hold. It's perfectly shaped for hand-holding. And I was even able to set it down and let her stick her little fingers underneath to cure. Not sure it would work that way for an adult though.It worked well to cure the gel polish until we were halfway done with applying stickers and such. Then I noticed the top coat was not curing because the battery was too low. To be fair, I didn't think to put it on to charge beforehand so it may have been fairly low to begin with. I found out then it still works while charging, which I was very glad of. We were trying to beat bedtime to get her completely done. She was disappointed when I suggested finishing in the morning.I couldn't have that. :DI think this little nail lamp is a very good buy. It does the job. But for regular use, I prefer the larger lamps that have more power and allow curing more than one nail at a time.
