Great value! in my review

This is a great starter set of full-coverage nail tips. There is a bit of a learning curve so let me help you:1. They hold on better as just tips with polygel or acrylic fill. I've tried them both ways, and they just don't stay on for very long if you glue the whole piece on. (I think I got 4 days with a full set before they started popping off here and there.)2. Pick a size that seems a little too small, then press it down on a hard surface to spread it out a little. They come too curved and won't stay put on your nail while you are trying to get the glue to set under the UV lamp. This is true if you are using them full size or cutting them down to be tips only. When they're too curved, you have to push down so much with your finger, that it blocks the UV light and it just won't cure. You need them to be flush with your own nail and press out any air bubbles or they won't stick. Unless you have insanely curved natural nails, you'll need them to be a little flatter.3. Cut the nail bed part down to 1/2-1/4 coverage of your nail bed, attach them with the included nail glue gel, cure under the UV lamp, then LASTLY trim down the tip to your desired length. If you trim the tip first, there's not enough to hold onto while you're trying to glue it on.4. Trim them on the sides, too, in addition to trimming the nail bed portion. You don't want them too close to your skin, nor do you want the nail glue gel squishing out and touching your skin.5. File the edge down after gluing it on, so it's a more gradual shift to your nail bed before covering it with polygel or acrylic. They are nice and thin and feel just like real nails. They have great realistic curvature to them, more so than just using builder gel. My third picture of my painted nails shows the difference: the pointer finger is with the tip from this set and the middle finger is just a builder gel refill (different brand). The shape of the included UV lamp is perfect for holding the tip on for 5 seconds to get the nail glue gel to set, then I usually use my regular lamp for the full 60-second cure. It comes with a pretty short cord, no block, so you'll have to be close to a USB plug or laptop for a power source. I have a USB plug in my home nail salon so it's no big deal for me. The tips come in 12 different sizes (0-11), but each size is individually packaged in zipper plastic bags. It's kind of a pain to hunt down and open 5 different sizes for a full set. I finally transferred mine to a clear sorting box (like for fishing tackle).Overall, I love this set. It's a great price, you get plenty of tips, and you can decorate them however you want. I HIGHLY recommend it!
