You measure all the way.

I use them in the warehouse - we have to constantly measure the size of the goods. The benefits are (a) they're bright - they'll stand out from the clutter in the workplace - which helps prevent them from getting lost, and (b) because you get a whole bunch - which is great if you inevitably have one anyway Lose couple., and (c) they're an incredible price so you can afford to refill them (more often than toilet paper these days) if you end up losing them all.
