I am very impressed with how well this mic works! It works great with both my old S5 smartphone and my son's ipad and his iphone 7+. I personally find the quality of the microphone impressive. It blocks out all background noise and amplifies my voice exceptionally well. The system is great too! The tripod is good but I really like the phone holder and cold shoe mount on the top. The phone holder is thick and I like it because it allows me to hold the outer box on the phone. My son has a battery case on his phone so his phone is heavy and thick and this holder can hold his big and fat phone very firmly and securely. The microphone is good too. Deadcat works great and the microphone is sensitive and very good. So far I am very impressed with this microphone system. This is my first purchase of the Comica brand and I am sure I will be buying more of them for my cameras. Very impressive. The case that comes with it is also very good! I love it and use it all the time. This is the best microphone system I have found for my smartphone. I'm new to vlogging so this system is exactly what I needed for me. A case with everything I need to get clear, crisp sound for my tripod mount smartphone and everything I need to start vlogging. Love it.
