Review on 🔥 Ashley Hearth DVAG11N 11,000 BTU Direct Vent Natural Gas Heater in Cream: Efficient Heating Solution for Your Home by Pamela Williams

I have to write the review to express how satisfied I am with the heating. I installed it to replace the Williams 14k with direct release, a model I have had problems with since 2007 but have kept buying for lack of an alternative, only 3 units in 14 years. And finally I found a great replacement and half the price at the same time! This wonderful heater is the same size and delivers a constant temperature of 57F when set to heat setting 1. I have a detached brick studio building with no insulation in the walls while the outside temperature was between 15 and 55 degrees Fahrenheit and everything inside was perfect for storage. When I set the slider to 2, the temperature rose slightly to 61, which is perfect for working on indoor projects in the New York area during the winter of February. I haven't tried 3 or 4 settings on the thermostat, no need to sweat! And best of all, after 5 weeks of heating the heater never once went out the pilot, despite several high winds causing another model I had for years to keep re-igniting (what a headache), I could never be sure that the pipes don't freeze on a windy night! Installation went smoothly, the hole in the wall I had before worked perfectly. My only complaint was with the 2.5" screws included in the kit to attach the frame to the wall. The ones that ripped off when screwing into the pre-drilled 2x4 wood frame boards in the wall. All 4 were completely ripped off, had to get them out with pliers, excruciatingly slow process! Overall I give this heater 5 stars.
