Review on πŸ” HKN Ethernet Detector Instrument Internet: Enhancing Network Troubleshooting and Monitoring Efficiencies by Tim Harrington

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Flawlessly simple

Instructions not included and while there's plenty to read in the product description, there's not much left at the end. Connect one end, no light, no short circuit. Add receiver, all indicators, good cable, no indicators, bad cable. You can do some diagnostics using the info in the description here on Revain, but really, what are you going to do about it? It doesn't look like you can really fix anything. You just make new endings and see if that fixes it. If not, then open/short is somewhere else and it won't really help you. Who cares which conductor is bad? You will still start over. This works with a technically dead 9V battery (up to 4.5V, which is considered dead at 5.4V) so you can't ask for more life. It will prompt you with two constant lights. There's no 9V included, but that's not a problem at this price point. Good, simple and fast tester. Make sure the cable is working before going live and trying to diagnose the wrong problem. Good price. Recommended. If this review was helpful to you, please click "Helpful". Many Thanks.
