Gas spring doesn't work at all. tried with the hex bolt fully loosened and tightened. When I turn it all the way to + I can drop it about 2 inches and it's very loose, but it doesn't go any lower and not nearly able to go low enough to keep my arm horizontal. When I turn the hex screw all the way, she slowly raises her arm 2 inches as I turn the screw. When it's all the way up, I can't move my arm. It's basically stuck in the raised position it landed in the box, there's no way to make it horizontal anyway. This thing sucks, I think I'll use the stand that came with my monitor so I can at least have the screen at eye level. DO NOT BUY
