I bought this because my pup crashes 5 times a day and my apartment is a combination of hardwood floors and Berber shag. whatever the material is. That being said, I only knew about industrial cleaners and never needed a spot bot. After my little french bulldog had many falls on wet and dry roads, I was sure my carpets were ruined. I have to say after using this product not only on my carpets but also on my upholstery it is a godsend! It has great suction power and is similar to ROOMBA in that you can just leave it alone, remove the stain and leave a fresh, clean area to work with. My only complaint is the excessive humidity in the room, but that's to be expected. My house has never smelled or been better. I highly recommend it and so does my little puppy. since I'm no longer scared when accidents happen. I also buy a portable bissell for quick messes. Buy and you will never regret it!
