Video is worth a thousand words and I used it with a Seree HDV-520 camcorder so I can't speak for other models. It should be noted that the camera lens package includes a fisheye lens inside the macro lens body. You must remove the fisheye lens to switch to macro mode. The video shows a basic camera and its limited focus to 2ft or more and the extremely narrow focus of a Seree macro lens. The fisheye worked exactly as it says, it creates a shell effect on the video and I didn't feel like I needed to show the fisheye part.
