Do not use as a permanent fixture
Purchased as a temporary breakthrough until stainless steel fixtures arrive. Upon arrival, the dimensions differed from what was stated in the description. The outside flange (for 1-1/8 ID tubing) is 1-7/8, not 2-1/4. I put the first one, the nut burst, the second was tightened normally, it didn't burst. I wouldn't trust them as permanent fixtures.
