Review on 💽 BIPRA 500GB 2.5 Inch External Hard Drive USB 2.0 - Black: Portable Storage Solution with NTFS Compatibility by Kyle Robbins

I chose this drive primarily because it still uses the Mini-USB connector that has been tried and tested for over 15 years. I've read a number of USB 3 drive reviews and seen enough complaints about bad connectors to avoid them. The miniature version of the USB 3 connector strikes me as flimsy and unreliable. I use this drive for backup and restore. The read speed for me is at the level of 30-35 MB / s. I also liked that the drive did not have any additional software, functions, cloud services, etc. I just needed a drive to back up my files to. Of course, any drive from any manufacturer can suddenly fail without warning, so always make multiple backups of your most important files on different drives ;-)
