For safety reasons, do not purchase this item

I returned this on arrival. I felt it was unsafe for the purpose I needed it for. The rope hook will not detach from the sling in any way, and you must thread the rope through to use it. Most of the rope hooks I use can be opened for quick and safe removal. As soon as I checked I saw potential problems in the event of an actual fall, the design of the hook could affect the rescue. They are not safe and should be withdrawn from the market immediately.
